Me and my husband got to the line and it looks like the elderly man’s EBT wasn’t going through. I then proceeded to put my items on the counter to be rung up. The older lady Mellany with the glasses saw us putting our things on the counter , we waited about 10 minutes to be rung up since the elderly man’s card wasn’t going through. A white man and a white young lady walked towards the register to get in line behind us and the worker Mellany didn’t hesitate to help them out and rang them up on the next register. This seems to me like the employee Mellany is racist and does not have any good customer service, she didn’t bother to apologize for the wait or ask if we needed any help at all.
