After taking my payment I waited 30-45 mins just for them to tell me they ran out of buns and can’t make my meal. It’s not the fact that it didn’t get made, it’s the fact that they could’ve told me they ran out before they made me wait and watch everyone get a burger. It seemed busy but there was only 15 people in there and about 9-10 people working busting out 4 burgers every 20 mins. I work in food and can assure you I can make 4 burgers every 20 mins by myself let alone all those hands on deck. Management desperately needs to be studied here because everyone was working but just going so dang slow. I was refunded thankfully but I am not one to ask for compensation meals or anything like that but you’d think that I would get something other than just a refund that won’t even hit my account for another week after waiting 30 mins to not even get anything. Just a big waste of time to be honest.

Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.
