  Ordered takeout from Diho Siam based on a recommendation from a colleague and I was not disappointed! The food was delicious! We saw so many options to try on the menu, I can’t wait to try them all!

  Chose Kra Pow cause it's street food but instead of a fried egg with a runny yolk on top of the pork, basil (not enough), and rice the egg was cooked all the way through. I was told it would be authentic but it was not. Dish was spiced right so that was good.

  Solid 4 Stars - We stopped in here for lunch while visiting the area and loved that they offer both Chinese and Thai. Had the lunch specials and the price and portions were good. Service was polite but not overly friendly. The Angels Wings were a bit disappointing. Not what we remember from our other Thai haunts but large in size. We were served very quickly and were in and out in way under an hour - we would return if in the area again.

  I’m not sure I can accurately describe how much I love Diho and their entire Thai menu (of note, all of their curries, but especially their Avocado Seafood Curry, with shrimp, scallops in their yellow curry base — which is hands down the best and most unique Thai curry I’ve ever eaten anywhere in all of Southern California and across the greater SF Bay Area over the past 20+ years). So much so that for the 15 years I lived in the Bay Area and would travel back to the OC to visit friends and family, a special lunch or dinner trip to Diho was always top of our priority when planning our itinerary. I first found Diho over 20 years ago during college and immediately became obsessed, going in to their Lake Forest location multiple timers per week, for well over 5 years. Before that, I was hard pressed to like any spicy food, but my then college roommate demanded I give Thai curry a try, and once we found Diho, one of the wonderful owners became my favorite person in the world and introduced me to all the wonderful tastes to be had, working with me over several months to up my tolerance for spicy foods. It was the most delicious education of my life! Seriously though, Diho Siam is one of my humble favorite restaurants hands down, if not THE favorite, and now that I’ve officially moved back to the OC, ordering delivery from their website while utilizing their points reward system only makes me even moreso their happiest customer!
