- LHLucas HuangMar 9, 20261.0On the evening of March 6th around 8 PM, my friend and I were waiting near the Pokemon vending machine when an employee began making mocking comments toward us and trying to provoke a reaction. This appeared to be because earlier we had questioned whether employees were supposed to be using the machine while on the clock after noticing him using it during his shift. To avoid further conflict, we left the store and sat in our car in the parking lot. About ten minutes later, a manager wearing an Albertsons name tag that read “Jayson” came outside, approached our vehicle in the parking lot, and confronted us in a very aggressive and unprofessional manner. During the interaction he said things like “Yeah I'm off the clock, whats up?” and, while wearing his Albertsons badge, made obscene gestures toward us while using some other very abusive language. It appeared that the manager was protecting the employee who had initially confronted us. This experience was extremely concerning, and I genuinely felt that my personal safety was being threatened during the interaction. Customers should not have to worry about being threatened by store employees in the parking lot. Albertsons corporate should take this incident seriously and review what is happening at this location.
