  3/31 I entered Vons at 9:40pm. We filled up a cart and went to pay at 10:30pm with a $300 cart. Not a single register was opened and a cashier said it’s only self check out after 10pm. At no point was there an announcement inside the store as I was inside before 10pm shopping. I had not experienced this by other Vons either. They usually have at atleast one cashier. Avoid shopping after 10pm I guess or plan todo it yourself even though they close at midnight.

  This is my favorite grocery store in my area! The shelves are always stocked with a wide variety of items. This place also has the most self checkout machines I have ever seen in one store. It's large, clean, and has anything you could ever want when grocery shopping. I highly recommend it!

  I’ve been shopping here for 3 years now & I can’t complain about my experience! The cashiers are typically very friendly, the fellas in the meat department are very friendly & have great customer service! My biggest “complaint” is all the solicitors that are always by the entrance. It seems like every time I come here to shop, there’s always someone that wants you to sign up for something or donate to something. I also accidentally misplaced my ID, Debit Card & Pronto Card (🤦🏾‍♂️ I know, I know) but I’m convinced 1 of the cashiers were holding onto it purposefully! I stayed in the store for almost an hour looking for it.. the moment I left, I got a phone call 20 minutes later saying that they found all my things 🤔 definitely questionable but I’m glad they found out & I do love shopping here.

  Be sure to go shopping around 5ish to catch the manager's specials in the meat department.

  I’ve had the same frustrating experience every time I’ve tried to buy something from the bakery here. Most of the time there’s no one at the counter, and when the employee is there, she acts like she doesn’t see you waiting. I’ve stood at the bakery counter for 15 minutes with no help. On my last visit, other staff even called for her over the loudspeaker multiple times and she still didn’t show up. She finally came back just as another employee from a different department was ringing me up. It's not only frustrating and inconvenient but it also makes me question the quality of the cakes. How fresh are these cakes if they aren't getting sold because there is no one there to sell them?
