Especially when I pointedly walked over from the line and asked the 2 deli women ( short gal w/glasses & taller woman of color),to please call someone due to the long lune of customers. They both just looked at me. WOW! Not feeling like a valued customer at this location. My advice if you want to get in quickly & checkout. Go to another store to shop!

- ZMZach Miller-LeeOct 12, 20251.0This is the worst vons in all of San Diego. Every time (no matter the day, time, weekend, holiday) I go in there’s only one cashier for the 6+ registers they have. Today, the manager exclaimed “I’ll help out those people with one item or less on another register” (how are you going to ring out someone with zero items??) I grabbed a single item and got into his line. Rather than just tell me “No, my offer is rescinded” he just moved the “Lane Closed” sign in front of me. Not even a “sorry” or “hello” or anything else. I asked “Is one item or less no longer valid?” To which he just rolled his eyes at me and started stuttering something under his breath. I said “It’s a yes or no question, I didn’t realize this was going to be such a big deal” He didn’t reply just scanned my item. Horrifically rude customer “service”. Way to make the people that keep your business alive as inconveniences. What a joke. And seeing the countless other reviews with the same experience, I’m sure I will receive some generic copy/paste response from Vons (Owner), rather than any actual accountability.
