  Lovely place, friendly, festive, colorful...and delicious! Everything is yummy, and the staff and servers are the best. This is a place to go for a special treat!

  Been a family favorite for years- way before it moved to Grossmont Center. Great food and drinks- including a robust cocktail selection!

  The place is very nice and the food is good, the customer service terrible, from our arrival until we left, the two waiters who served us very reluctantly when they saw that we did not order too much, with the impression that one of them bothered to speak to her in Spanish, pity for that service that makes you not want to come back.

  This use to be our go to spot. Last time we were there we waited a 1/2 before we got up and walked up. The place wasn't even busy but the server couldn't even acknowledge us. Won't be going back. Very unfortunate because the food is pretty good, the atmosphere is great but the service sucks.

  I used to love Casa De Pico when it was in old town. It's terrible they still have to wear hot gimmicky outfits to work in the heat. Now, the cheese enchiladas are like eating a gooey mess of glossy cheese, that hardened quickly as the plate cools. It messes with the gut, it's far from easily digestible. I'll never order a cheese dish from here again. I had a good experience with the shredded beef taco through. 🌮 Please, make different lunch hour menus. It left the server having to be questioned about the cost of the bill...if it were 2:30, the meal I ordered would've been $15.99, it was 20.00. Print one for the earliest lunch specials. Print another for the 2:30 specials. It would save people the embarrassment of not listening to the server, not being told, and/or having to pay attention to the time of the day. It was my company that missed this. They were paying for lunch, as a thank you for helping them out. Instead, it made lunch awkward due to the shifting of the attitude. The 10.00 saved, could've went back to the workers tip, and the payee could've been happier.
