  do not order online from this location. 3 weekends in a row, Saturday specifically, i ordered from this Cava location. every single time there was something wrong or missing from the order or the staff acted like 7th graders, completely crass and rude. i’ve yet to order in person which i’ll admittedly try and do next weekend. Chipotle in La Jolla has the same exact problem, so maybe it’s a curse. beware, absolutely DO NOT place an online order here or they will complain that you complain. for a $20+ salad bowl, i expect WAY better.

  Staff was super rushed and snappy. Portions today was definitely questionable. My bowl was not full and they were out of some toppings but did not care to tell anyone. I also watched my sisters pita get dragged across the dirty counter. Then everything got put on a wet tray so mine ended up soggy. When I asked for a new one it git snatched out fo my hand. I get being stressed but quality and kindness should not change.

  This place is crazy popular! It was packed when we got there but the line moved fairly quickly and the service was wonderful. We were served by a super friendly and smiley guy named Johnny. Johnny was very helpful in helping us navigate the menu and gave good recommendations. I had the lamb and it was delicious. The harrisa and red pepper hummus were especially tasty and my tastebuds were so happy with those selections. My bowl really made me feel like I’m eating a clean and healthy lunch. This is my new favorite place for healthy delicious food. So glad I decided to try this place out today!

  I stopped by CAVA today and picked up 7 bowls for my team, and it was a great experience all around. The ordering process was quick and efficient, even with a larger order, and everything was packaged neatly and ready on time. The food itself was fresh, flavorful, and consistent across all the bowls. Everyone on the team was able to customize their meal, which made it easy to accommodate different tastes. The ingredients tasted high quality, and the portions were generous—definitely filling without feeling too heavy. What stood out most was how well the order held up for a group. Nothing was missing, and everything was clearly labeled, which made distribution simple and hassle-free. My team really enjoyed the meal, and it was a great option for a quick but satisfying group lunch. Overall, CAVA delivered on both quality and convenience—I’d definitely order from them again for the team.

  Absolutely terrible experience. The customer service was already bad, but what really made it unacceptable was how unsanitary everything felt. The employee at the front literally picked something up off the floor, crumpled it in his hand, and then went right back to making our bowls touching the spinach with the same gloves. No glove change, no hand washing, nothing. It was honestly shocking to watch and completely killed my appetite. Cleanliness should be the bare minimum, especially when you’re handling people’s food. I would not recommend this location to anyone unless you’re okay with questionable hygiene and careless staff. When I told the manager she didn't even care and said rudely, “well do you need us to remake it then” obviously bothered I even let her know about how unsanitary her team member was.
