Tucked in the northern end of the stunning Sonoma Valley, the Chateau St. Jean estate is anchored by the historic 1920’s chateau, but also welcomes guests to explore winding paths through rose gardens, relax on the patio, picnic in a redwood grove, enjoy bocce courts, or simply take in the best views in Sonoma Valley from our expansive grand lawn. Pick your perfect space and find yourself transported to the ambiance of a fine European estate under sunny Sonoma skies.
We were really looking forward to our visit, but unfortunately the experience fell short. The setting was lovely, but our server named Susan was surprisingly rude and unwelcoming—especially toward children. On top of that the wine didn't live to its expectations. The winery was empty which pretty much says it all.

Everything the reviews say about the beauty of this winery is true. Only topped by the knowledge and hospitality of the staff. Ronny (sp?) taught me so much about the wine and winemaking. Can’t wait to come back!

Jordan was so attentive and made our experience so fun! He explained everything with detail and didn’t leave questions unanswered. The grounds are beautiful of course, and the wines were delicious!
