It used to be a quick couple of minutes to get just donuts/munchkins by telling the worker which ones you wanted then paying for them and that was it. Now with the forced kiosk system you get put into a que with all the online orders even if your order will take a few seconds to prepare (like donuts). Also their system tells which orders were placed at the kiosk vs online, you would think in person orders would have some kind of priority. To add on to the terrible ordering system the workers the day we went in (12/21 in the AM) were also just chatting while we stood there waiting for our food. Overall what was once a simple (and still done by any other donut shop) task of ordering and paying has now caused more time than I think their average donuts are worth. On a seperate occasion (a year or so ago), I had ordered 2 dozen donuts ahead of time (which is only 1 day in advance thanks to their also terrible app) for pick up in the afternoon. When I got there they did not have enough donuts to complete the pre-ordered and paid for donuts. This was for a company event which could not be postponed so I asked for a refund. The employee stated they could not provide a refund for a product I never recieved, which required me to call the manager even though I was in store. After a couple days of "phone tag" I was finally able to get my money back for something that should never have occured. I ended up having to go to another Dunkin off of Jeffrey Rd, which was nicer and did not require the stupid Kiosk by the way.
