  If you don't feel like cooking, and/or just have a yearning for a home cooked soul food meal. This is the place to go. It is a cozy restaurant that offers curbside ordering and pick-up as well as limited indoor seating. You will often see a line of people waiting outside for their orders. Parking is free on the tiny parking lot next door to the building. The prices were competitive and the food was flavorful. The portions were satifying. If you have left overs, they warm up tasty. The service was welcoming and attentive even when the food needed a little more tlc. This restaurant is located a short distance from the stadium on the corner of La Brea and Manchester. I had a tomatoes, corn and okra side with fried fish and collard greens.

  The food was delicious I got the oxtails cornbread mac and cheese and greens. I loved everything about the dishes. The oxtails were so tender oh I forgot to add they were on a bed of rice with gravy. The food was delivered we got the food fast. The price for the food was reasonable. My experience overall was very very nice. It didn't take long to receive the food it was still hot when it was delivered and the food was so delicious. I forgot to add the sweet potato pie. My favorite part about the meal other than the food being so delicious it was enough to save for later it's very filling so I was able to eat some when I received it and I was able to eat some later. I recommend giving Dulan a try.Dulan's soul food kitchen is so wonderful I don't think you can go wrong with anything you order that's my recommendation whatever you order. going to be good

  I got the oxtail dinner. It was very unpleasant. The gravy for the oxtails over the rice was watery. My macaroni and cheese taste smoky burnt. My greens were just plain as ever no flavor that taste like they have vinegar in them. I just wasn’t satisfied it lacked a whole lot of flavor as well dis I could’ve cooked everything way better in my kitchen. If I wasn’t too lazy. I haven’t tried Dulans in years and to give it a try after so many years Mustache was just the wrong thing to do.

  . The food was absolutely amazing. Genuine soul food that tasted just like thanksgiving at Grandma's house. I must say, I was a little dissapointed to be served cold cornbread muffins foil wrapped in the beginning. The food and soulful music made up for that! The serving sizes were perfect-had more than enough to eat and save some for later. Though "they" try, this type of cooking can not be imitated, duplicated, nor commercialized.

  I wanted to write this review for a good restaurant. I went on a Sunday and ordered the smothered chicken, which is a whole half of the chicken smothered and delicious gravy. It did not disappoint at all. Of course I wasn’t gonna try to eat the whole thing in one sitting because the servings are huge and that chicken with that cornbread dressing is so on point The gravy was smooth well seasoned and delicious, not overly salty at all, which I really appreciate thank you chef. The size I ordered were okra, corn, tomatoes, and mac & cheese. The sides were just OK. I was really looking forward to the mac & cheese because I’m a huge mac & cheese connoisseur, but the mac & cheese I felt was just not up to standard. I make a bit of mac & cheese and mine is better by comparison to be honest. The cheese flavor didn’t really come through, I didn’t taste any seasoning hardly in it, almost bland, Which is very surprising. The dining room host/servers were very nice but overwhelmed because they were multitasking. It seems, attending to the folks in the dining room and the folks outside waiting for their orders for takeout. They were harried and stressed. Overall, I would come back, my dining experience was well worth the weight and the money I spent. I went to the Manchester Englewood location and I love that location because of the energy and it’s safe and I’m busy for the most part. I hope that the management sees my note particularly about the mac & cheese, and I don’t know maybe the recipe or something?
