  All that one can expect from a community staple soul food place. Given the wide range of people eating in, this restaurant attracts the masses, during day light hours, one would expect! The chicken was good, the mash and gravy on par, the sweet tea, Diabetic sweet.

  Went here before a concert for dinner. Waited 10 minutes for a waitress to acknowledge us after walking past multipletimes. She took our order twice because she said it didn't go thru. 45 minutes later, dieing of thirst she dropped off our food in to go containers. I start eating my food only for it to be turkey and not chicken. We had cake with the meal and it was very dry. The ice tea was super sweet. Overall the food was good. I would go again but order to go since the service was subpar!

  I have been a customer of this restaurant for over 20 years. I have driven long distances just for a plate. I am so disappointed in the taste and quality of the food now. The service was nice and friendly, but the food was absolutely terrible!!! Bland, dry, flavorless. The peach cobbler was mushy, bland, and totally gross. The dressing was practically inedible. Macaroni mushy, grainy, and flavorless Such a waste of time and money. There needs to be an overhaul in the kitchen ASAP! It is desperately needed. I’m so mad I spent my hard earned money on this slop. It was truly awful.

  I normally do food reviews on live but today I wasn’t prepared for it due to short notice someone recommended me to try this place out…. When I walked in the atmosphere was cool very good music selection…… I should’ve walked out once I felt the waitress vibe when I ask her if I could get some bread and water so I can break my fast oh boy her attitude was mind blowing so I explain to her it’s Ramadan I been fasting since 5:30AM no water no food i would like to break my fast before I order….. She say very rudely we don’t have bread we have cornbread Thats will come with your food so I ask her if she could please bring me some while I look at the menu…. Let’s get to the food I ordered the beef short ribs and got another attitude when I ask if the greens had pork in it…. The greens DONT have pork so I order that which I was better off leaving them in the pot…., She said they had turkey in them which I didn’t see nor taste any turkey they even miss putting the seasoning in them I swear them greens was mad at themselves…… The short ribs was very plan and blend so I made her aware of that so I ask her if I can get a side of chicken I have no problem paying for it….. She tell me I would have to buy the whole dinner they don’t sell it by the side……. She offered to exchange it that was great or should I say I thought it was great she brought out the chicken let me tell you I think seasoning just not offered at this spot or just on strike….. Now remind yall i havent ate nor drank anything since 5:30AM so I should taste every bit of seasoning……. But who ever made the Mac and cheese in the yams I could hug you that was the best thing they had to offer….. I knew it was gonna be all bad once she brought my food out with the green hanging off the side of the to go container and the container that the yams was in had yam juice all on the outside of the container as you seen in the picture…… I ate the Mac and cheese in the yams she ask if I need a bag i told her no the rest can go in the trash paid my tab left out hungry so I went to grab a pizza went home disappointed in watch the game….. Maybe after Ramadan is over the day time cook and waitress would be different well Thats what my co-workers said

  Today my hubby and I went there for lunch. I must say I hadn’t eaten there for many years. Let me tell you I forgot what I’ve been missing. The food was delicious them sista in that kitchen need be on the FoodNet Work. Everything was A1 the food the service the ambience the portions the food quality. The plate was fill with more food I could eat in one setting so I have lunch for tomorrow. Dulan’s didn’t disappoint we will be returning soon. I had the cat fish and greens and mac n cheese cornbread muffins. He had the smothered chicken greens, mac n cheese Valentine lunch with my Boo Cakes.
