  The seafood molcajete was sooo salty that was almost impossible to eat. They forgot to bring tools for the crab legs and had to go to the restroom to wash my hands because they didn’t bring any water with lemon to the table. Not very friendly waitress either. Very disappointing experience. I don’t want to eat out for a while.

  I ordered myself a tortilla soup, I’m not usually one to leave reviews unless I feel like I’ve wasted my time or money. Over the phone, I placed my order and it was repeated back correctly. I picked it up about 20 minutes later after they said it was ready. Unfortunately, the soup lacked authentic flavor it was overly salty and very disappointing. It only contained cheese, chicken, and tortilla chips, and they even forgot the salsa for the chips I asked for. For $24 for a soup and a side of rice, I expected much better quality. I don’t mind paying that price if the food tastes like it’s worth it. Based on my experience, I would not recommend it or return.

  This is very nice restaurant. The food is good. The service is good. The atmosphere is good. Nothing to complain.

  My extended family and I have been coming here since the late 90s. My large exgented family of 19 people got catered food from here for Christmas Eve. Gabriel the owner is amazing and the food is exceptional. Macario's recently moved from the old house they used to occupy out by the railroad tracks to a site downtown along Hwy 111, when I took my family there this weekend I was amazed to see the restaurant not as packed as usual, and I am worried that not enough people have discovered the new location or (slight) name change, the new location is much better for space and the food is always amazing. If you like margaritas get the large Cadillac or Signature, those are incredible, then have someone else drive you home, lol. Even my wife who is vegetarian was surprised by the quality of the fish tacos they served. Get the Camarones Macario or Maria if you like shrimp, the portions fill you up. Rice, beans, quality. The tortilla chips are served fresh and hot. Best Mexican food I know of in the desert, and that's saying a lot.

  We love this this gem my girlfriends and me we always have fun and the best food and karaoke 🎤 Don't miss out on rltge Mondays buffet With amazing dishes and handmade tortillas Thos is the most authentic MEXICAN food In the valley And the staff and owners are so polite and attentive We just found our favorite place to hang out 🥰🥰🥰
