  I’m really disappointed with my recent experience at Panera Bread. My family had been looking forward to having lunch together this week, and unfortunately the entire experience was frustrating. We went inside and placed our order with the cashier, then headed home. When we got home, we realized multiple items were missing—a sandwich and a cookie were not included in the bag. On top of that, my daughter had been looking forward to the pink tulip cookie all week, and we realized it wasn’t even on the receipt because the cashier never added it to the order. Since there were multiple issues with the order, I decided to call the store to try to resolve everything at once. The employee I spoke with over the phone told me I could come back through the drive-thru to pick up the missing items. When I returned, I was given the bag with the items, and while they did include the pink tulip cookie, I realized the moment I got home that it was BROKEN. There was also no apology for the mistake or the inconvenience. I asked if I could have a small side of mac & cheese for the inconvenience, but I was told they had already given me the cookie for “free” and couldn’t provide the mac & cheese because it was too expensive. That response felt dismissive, especially considering the mistake was on their end and we had already paid for items we didn’t receive. What made this even more frustrating was that the receipt on the bag had each item checked off, and at the bottom it said “order checked by” with a signature. If items are being marked as checked, they should actually be placed inside the bag before being checked off. On top of that, the signature was not legible, which makes it difficult to hold anyone accountable when mistakes like this happen. We don’t live nearby, so driving back and forth was an added inconvenience and cost. Because of the missing items, I didn’t even end up having a proper lunch with my family. My daughter ended up sharing some of her mac & cheese with me because she felt bad that I didn’t have anything, which honestly made the situation even more frustrating. Mistakes happen, but the way they’re handled matters. This could have easily been turned into a positive experience if the staff had simply made it right. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case here.

  I’ve never had a problem at this location and I eat here pretty much once a week. The mix & match deal is a bargain, and the self-service kiosk is pretty clutch for when you want to skip the line. Food never takes long, and I’ve never had my order messed up.

  I ordered for dine in, they gave it to me in a to go container with 4 stacked bowls and some bread on a plate. The container barely filled 3 bowls & when I say filled i am being generous. The chicken noodle soup tastes like it was made with dirty water. Their water from the machine tastes the same way. Disgusting and a waste of money

  It's one of the better chain restaurants. We didn't have to wait, there were a lot of choices & the food was delicious. The portions were kind of skimpy but good.

  I always go to the location in Victorville, but today I decided to stop by at this one to get the Tuesday bagels. The worst decision I made, because the employee Stephenie was so rude, she was talking to a man when I got there and she didn't disguise how annoying she was for having to help a customer. The whole time her attitude was like a robot and very rude, I said good morning and she didn't reply. I always check my order and I noticed I was missing a bagel, so I went in line again and she asked another employee to help me. Never apologized for her mistake or said thank you. While sge was preparing my order she kept talking to her "friend ", I think that's why she didn't give me my order complete. Panera you need to get better training to your employees or do something because we go there to start our day with something good but we ended up having a bad attitude from the employees. Not nice at all. Very disappointing. Never going back to that location again.
