Lancaster Estate is dedicated to crafting wines that are estate grown, produced and bottled. Situated at the southern tip of Alexander Valley, near the confluence of the Knights Valley and Chalk Hill appellations, the 53-acre estate includes vineyards planted to Bordeaux varieties, a state-of-the-art winery and caves dug into the hillside adjoining the winery. Lancaster Estate is a certified California Sustainable Vineyard & Winery and employs farming and winemaking techniques to maintain the integrity of the wines origins.
The estate crafts limited production wines made exclusively from classic Bordeaux varieties – Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Petit Verdot and Sauvignon Blanc – singularly identifiable as Lancaster Estate.

- JUJamie UmscheidSep 23, 20195.0Visited Lancaster with six girlfriends from CO. Our host, Louisana, was gracious, knowledgeable and fun. She gave us a look at the storage cave and allowed us to taste grapes from the vine as she taught the group about the varietals grown on the property. It is a Members Only tasting room, but I highly recommend the Foley Food & Wine Society membership.
