  The restaurant was remodeled recently and appears clean, but I think as a result of the financial impact of the remodel, the new owner has become remarkably stingy with portions and rules his employees with an iron fist, ensuring they are terrified at the prospect of one shred of extra lettuce or a scrap of an olive beyond the numerical limit. This used to be a great location, always clean and fresh and provided service with the understanding that a customer who is happy with thier sandwich, will come back for another. Sadly it isnt the case anymore. The new owner adheres to strict limits and portion controls. I'm not talking about anything unreasonable like trying to give double meat for free. If you ask for a few extra pickles or olives or a heavier pour of mayo or a touch of extra salt you're met with an attitude as though you just asked for the release of Al capone. The entire business model of subway is to build your sandwich how you want it made. Unfortunately what the new owner will realize sooner rather than later is if you focus too hard on the pennies, you'll lose the dollars. A restaurant with a reputation of being generous with the portions, and accommodating customers, will make a lot more than one that refuses to accommodate within reason. Very sad, ill be looking for another subway as this location wont provide service worth paying for. It appears subway as a whole tends to be leaning this way, but this location was always a cut above the rest.
