So many vegetarian options. This is the best Chinese food in Hayward, and customer service is exceptional.

3.5 stars We came here before 11am shortly after opening on a Sunday and there was no wait. We decided to try their entrees and skipped the dimsum. The salted fish chicken eggplant claypot took a long time to come, it came at the end and the eggplants were burnt on the bottom and the skin was tough to chew. It was also submerged in a lot of oil but tastewise it was okay. The satay beef chow fun was good, it was actually runny and not too salty. The pineapple was a nice touch, we just weren't a big fan of the red bellpeppers. Japanese style beef cubes with fried silken tofu was really good, the sauce is slightly sweet and savory and not too salty. We really liked this one. All 3 dishes were in the low $20s, and more than enough for 3 people. We had leftovers to go. There is free dessert! Choice is mango pudding or grass jelly.

Our go to when in the area. House made spicy sauce compliments the food well. Dim sum ordered by marking the menu and then it comes out hot and fresh. Never feels like its been sitting for a prolonged amount of time. Tea is charged per person. Plenty of parking and place is always tidy.
