I visited this store around 4:00 PM with my daughter to order food. We ordered #1, and I paid using my ATM card. Later that evening, at 10:00 PM, I checked my bank account and noticed I had been charged for two meals instead of one.
I called the store several times, but no one answered, so I drove there in the rain to resolve the issue in person. When I arrived at the drive-thru, an employee assisted me. I explained that I had been overcharged, but he did not believe me and told me to contact my bank instead. I asked why I should contact my bank when the mistake was made by the store.
I requested to speak to the manager, and the employee claimed he was the manager. He then told me there was nothing he could do, shut the window, and took my receipt. I honked to get assistance, but no one responded and they just acted as if I wasn't exist.
I felt extremely frustrated and vulnerable, as I showed him both the receipt and my bank statement, but he still did not initially resolve the situation. Eventually, he returned to the window and said, “I will give you your money.” Had this been done at the outset, the problem could have been avoided.
This experience was very disappointing, especially as a regular customer, and I am deeply concerned about how customers are treated at this location.
