I tried to pay and my card was declined, as it was charged during the first transaction, even though it had been voided. Unfortunately, I didn't have enough funds in my account to pay again. The cashier, the bagger and the manager all reassured me the funds would go back into my account within 3 business days. I've spent over 4 months trying to get this resolved through countless visits to the store, leaving documentation and my contact info for the book keeper, customer service and the store director. I have been diligent in my efforts to resolve this, I wish I could say the same about Safeway personnel. I am beyond frustrated with Safeway Corporate and the Sutton Store Director, whom has twice assured me, he'd get back to me -- he has not. Countless times, I've politely reached out, provided documentation and asked Safeway to return the funds taken from my account. Where's the accountability? I filed a complaint with the BBB and will also be taking this complaint to small claims court.
