- RSrobert squyresApr 18, 20264.0First time I have been at 5 Guys. They had a combo special that was the little cheeseburger, little fries and a drink for $13.99. Not a bad price when the patty is a 1/4 lb, and you can add up to 17 different toppings. I added lettuce, ketchup, mustard, and grilled onions. The burger came out nice and fresh, juicy, and very flavorful. I also added bacon to the burger which was worth it. Everything is better with bacon. The fries were fresh and not frozen. I didn't ask for them well done, but I might next time. I like my fries a little crispier than what they cooked them. The fries had good flavor, but we're a little on the salty side. Maybe next time I will also ask for light salt or no salt and add my own. The fries were the one part of the meal that fell a little short. But maybe next time I will order them a little different. I will definitely give 5 Guys another shot.

Why does Five Guys have peanuts for free?
Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.

Leftover fries are excellent reheated in the oven (or Air Fryer). According to Chad Murrell, one of the Five Guys, just pop them in a 350-degree oven for about 10-15 minutes.
