- LJLeo JordanDec 2, 20251.0DO NOT BUY GIFT CARDS FROM THIS STORE. This store is known to sell compromised gift cards and they refuse to take any action to stop it. I recently purchased a $50 gift card from this story and handed it to my 13 year old nephew for his birthday. Days later he went to Nike store and selected what he wanted only to be told that gift card has been used and has zero balance left. The cashier asked where they got it from and they stated that they've had many other customer issues from this very specific Vons store. I went back to Vons with my purchase receipt and proof of activation and had the displeasure of speaking with Victor and has manager Eva only to be told "yes, we know it's a problem, but can't do anything to it unless cooperate tells us to do something." They wouldn't even refund me my money, I have had to open a case with their corporate which has been nothing but generic emails telling me they're looking into it. As a grocery store they are an average Vons, but as a Gift Card seller, this place is nothing but a giant fraud machine.
