  This is the worst grocery store to come too when your on your 30 minute lunch and wanna get a quick bite at the deli , this is the worst service I’ve ever witnessed at a deli the employees are super slow they have to ask the left leg permission to move the right leg your guaranteed to be attended in 20 minutes , oh and if you wanna get into an argument with someone this is the place to come too the ladies at the front are super rude instead of helping you they’ll just bash you and talk to you like your dumb. I wouldn’t recommend this place on my worst enemy

  Vons at 311 W Los Feliz Blvd in Glendale CA has lost another customer due to rude and just weird employees. I went into Vons March 1st 2026, apx 7:15 pm to buy a bundle of celery. That was it. I picked one out and started to head to cashiers and this security guard (so he said) came from the Floral area and told me he wanted me to leave my backpack ( which is a standard small backpack from Walmart) in the front while I shopped. I told him I'm not leaving my back pack with anyone because it's my "Murse" short for Man Purse and contained my passport, check books, credit cards, drivers license, etc. " Well, he kept getting closer to me and saying while it was his shift in the store I would have to put my bag in the front" not even telling me exactly where in the "front". He was a black security guard, long dreaded hair, skinny and repulsive to me as a customer because of his demeanor and attitude. I ended up throwing the celery back into the bin which was too expensive anyway ($2.99/ bundle of celery) and told him they just lost a customer and I went down to Super King and found a bigger bundle of celery, for only $1.99 and I was treated nicely as a customer at Super King. Vons store manager, I really recommend you talk with this security guard about his behavior because if he keeps this up your store will end up having a lawsuit or something concerning this guy.

  The customer service is very strange. It's 6 PM, only one checkout is open, and there's a huge line at that checkout and a huge line at the self-checkout. Why can't they open more checkouts during rush hour?

  Been going here for six years. Every time I go now only 1 of 8 check out lanes is open and a 20-person line leading to one overworked cashier is the only option besides shelf checkout, which also has a 20 person line. Hire more people, it’s pathetic.

  This lady was really rude. She lied to me. She told me to give me the discount but when I checked the receipt, she don’t give me the discount. I go to the manager to fix the problem but when I tell her, please be careful next time she started joining me and she told me it’s not my fault to fall and she start arguing with me. I’m not coming back anymore to this vons
