Sadly my family and I were not happy with this place we ate there on April 21st, the person who sat us was annoyed with our presence. The waitress was nice and no complaints for her. The my son and husbands food was good but our Alfredo was not! Then noodles were not cooked all the way through. It was hard to chew and eat. I don’t know if it was because we went in at 8pm and they didn’t feel like cooking or what but that was the worst. We went 3 years ago everything was great but this time around was bad.

Portions are big but not like they used to be. Food was good but not as it used to be. Prices are very high for portions you get. The 4 to 6 serving entrees only fed that number if you ordered multiple, otherwise if definitely was not enough... it's really like a small serving for each person. Dinner was hundreds of dollars and everyone was full but at $40+ each just for salad and shared entrees, not really worth it. Quality of food was high.
Decore is over the top kitchy... should be experienced once.

Buca di Beppo Italian Restaurant is a lively and memorable dining spot that brings classic Italian flavors to the table in a fun, family-style setting. The atmosphere is vibrant and full of personality, making it perfect for gatherings, celebrations, or just a great meal with friends and family.
The portions are generous and designed for sharing, with dishes like rich pasta, flavorful sauces, and perfectly cooked entrees that capture the essence of traditional Italian comfort food. Every plate is hearty, satisfying, and made with care.

Very good location on Harbor Blvd., half a mile South of Disneyland with plenty free parking.
It's a huge place with 5 separate dining areas but was empty for a Friday lunch, only 3 other families with children from out of state for Disneyland. The hostess and waiter were courteous and attentive. Decoration is very interesting with lots of Italian photos and artifacts.
The special $9.99 lunch is pasta with sauce, no meats. We ordered lunch, a chicken parmigiana and pasta alfredo with meat balls. Lunch came with salad, garlic bread, $3 extra for a delish soup, $6.50 beer, all costed $56 for 2 people.
The chicken was dry and tasteless. Pasta meatballs with alfredo sauce was also tasteless. Even I can cook better than this. The dishes were loaded with lots of cream, loaded down my stomach heavily. After getting home I fell asleep for 3 hours.
I had much better Italian food in New York, chicken parmigiana was tender, tasty, creamy, tangy, light but full of good taste and aromas. Bucca di Beppo clearly does not have good clientele. It has gone into bankruptcy proceedings in 2025. It needs to serve better, tastier and more authentic Italian food.

I want to start with the food was delicious! We were seated at a table in the bar. We ordered the $40 meal deal which is an amazing deal. It comes with garlic bread, pasta and a salad for 4 people. Our server Lily explained the portions, the Buca Bundle and even asked us if we wanted complimentary bread and made the olive oil balsamic mixture. Everything was going great. After she took our order she went over to the bar. She was also a bartender so I tried to get her attention but she was loudly enjoying tasting wine. Which I know is part of her job to pair wine and food. But we felt like we were in the employee lounge. Then we received our pasta. and it took some time to get her attention. When she came over we asked if we were supposed to get the salad too. She said “that’s not what we talked about”. My husband pointed at the Buca Bundle and said this is what I ordered. She said no you didn’t. So I reminded her of how the order went and she was like “you don’t need to argue I can fix it”. She fixed it. She never apologized or said I’m so sorry for the confusion. Just really rude. We were lucky to get Raul afterwards because she was on break. He was nice offered to refill our drinks. All the bussers and the hostesses were all professional. We went at 5:30 on a Friday so it was early and not busy. There was no reason to be rude. Mistakes happen, but how she felt the need to be right and rude, was very disappointing along with talking so loudly while wine tasting instead of checking on our table. I think she may have been mad we interrupted her fun. I’m assuming since she is a bartender/ server she is experienced and hopefully we caught her on a bad day. We still tipped 20% and we were respectful. We didn’t ask for anything. We are disappointed because we usually have great experiences at Buca.
