Highly recommend the Meat Shawarma Fattah (4.6/5) which is a beef and rice bowl. I've gotten it like 3-4 times in the past two months and it's always so good. You can opt in for garlic sauce, spicy red sauce, and crispy bread. I usually opt out of the crispy bread since it gets placed at the bottom of the bowl and gets soggy. Both sauces are flavorful and the red sauce is around a mild-medium spice rating. The large bowl can last me 2-3 meals so it makes up for the price.
We also tried the beef liver sandwich (3.8/5), fried brain sandwich (3.8/5), and bachemal pasta (4/5) which is their best selling item according to the owner.
We had their rice pudding (4.5/5), kunafa (4/5), and Om Ali (3/5).
The owner is super friendly and genuinely likes what he does, which is nice to see!
They have two tables inside and a few outside so its more of a to-go place.
There are a few parking spaces in front of the restaurant, to the right side, and behind the restaurant if you follow the loop as if to leave the area.
Really loved this place! We got the bechamel pasta, meat shawarma fattah, and the hawawashi sandwich, and everything was delicious. The portions were huge, and the price was really good for how much food we got. I also loved that the Coke was actually from Egypt. Iām not usually a Coca Cola fan at all, but this one was so refreshing, smooth, crisp, and perfectly carbonated. It was honestly my first time ever liking Coke. The owner was so kind, outgoing, and welcoming, and the service was amazing. Great food, great portions, and such a nice experience overall. Definitely coming back! šš
Food is nice, service is phenomenal! Will be coming back for more for sure

The best Egyptian restaurant in California!
I drove all the way from the Bay Area to LA, and it did not disappoint.
The food is authentic, flavorful, and fresh. Bebo and Remon were very professional and kind, and they made sure I had a great experience.
I highly recommend Tasa2Go and will definitely be coming back.

Absolutely fantastic gem of a restaurant! Took a blind chance and brought a group of colleagues here to try Egyptian food for the first time while we were in town and I was fasting - couldn't have gone better! Food was authentic, delicious, great portions and the owner himself came out to chat with us and make sure everything was perfect ever 10-15 min. You can tell how much he cares about his work, it's a passion not just a business - your taste buds will recognize the difference. Couldn't have been happier with the experience, highly recommend. We had the Macarona bechamel, fatteh, hawawshi, koshari, mmombar - all the classic Egyptian food!
