  Sakura Chaya, April 3rd 2026 at 8:01pm Me & my daughter came here because she just loves the fried rice 🍚 & that is what she wanted but we first got a table & started to inquire about the food so the waitress said that they don't do anything fried at the side we were on but they can do a really big bowl of fried rice 🍚 but everything else was not fried so my daughter ordered some sushi 🍣 & a shrimp 🍤 & veggies tempura & our drinks. So she had also asked the waitress if there was any openings at the dinning area where they did the live cooking show & so we waited about 10 minutes & then we were seated at the table in front of the grill with another family & one woman was celebrating her (🎂birthday) & so we waited for a while until the chef show up to start cooking 🔪🥓🥚🥩🍤🍗🍚 & veggies. "Thank You" to our Chef he was so "Awesome" & so was the show & I just loved the volcano 🌋 made out of onions! The steak 🥩 was cooked just right & the shrimp 🍤 also plus the fried rice none made it home L🤤L! because it was so darn good & delicious & the veggies were too. Oh yeah I can't forget the mushroom 🍄 soup it was very tasty 😋. Me & my daughter we had gotten the dinner/s so there was plenty of food & some leftovers! Again Thank You to everyone here at Sakura Chaya & ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐'s & 💯%+ Great Job! 😎👍

  The food here is delicious! Hands down the best teppan in Fresno! But here is why I'm only giving 3 stars.. we got there and we walked up to the hostess and let her know we had put our name down over the phone, with the rudest attitude and stankiest stank face she told us they would call us shortly. She didn't say hello, she didn't say welcome in, she didn't even look up at us.. if you're gonna be a hostess basically the first person customers interact with when they arrive at a restaurant, you should at least smile. I hate to be this kind of customer cause like I said the food is delicious here but when you dine out you'd expect friendly service from the moment you walk in. The last time we were here the same thing happened with the same girl ( the girl with ribbons all in her hair and thin eyebrows) this time I had to review.

  Party of 8 went to celebrate my mom's 76th birthday for lunch. Chef was quite the whole time and did nothing extra as far as a little cooking show. No volcano not even a big flame at the beginning to warm the grill. Food was ok but needed seasoning on the beef and chicken. Rice had little to no flavor. Probably won't be back or just request a different chef next time.

  Worst customer service ever. We usually order take-out and our orders are all over $300 to $400. Several times per month. For over 10 years. Through the pandemic and more. Suffice to say, we have gotten a lot of food here. But the new staff is so bad, and care so little about their customers that we just can't support them anymore. We ordered over $400 of take-out, waited over an hour, just to get shined on. No food. Almost two hours later, food was cold and everyone who we ordered food for got sonething else to eat. Sorry guys, but I am over it. And I'm the one who pays all the time. So we, and I mean me, are done.
