We came in excited to try this place because of the great reviews. We were greeted by a gal, but the interaction didn’t feel very welcoming, which made it uncomfortable to ask questions about the menu. We ended up sitting down and then deciding to leave because the overall vibe just wasn’t there for us. First impressions matter, and this experience fell short. Hoping it was just an off day, because the food reviews sound promising.

This is actually a 4.5 star restaurant for me. I live in the Tower and, when my husband or I are sick, this is our go to place for delicious pho. I also recommend the drunken noodles, pad see ew and egg rolls. I did not care for the spring rolls, but the dipping sauces were really tasty.

All that I could think of when I was here was how have I not found this place sooner?
I came in yesterday morning when it was kinda busy, thought I would have to wait long for my food but it was surprisingly fast. Even with only one server there the service was incredibly fast and friendly. If you want good pad Thai come here!!! The server was kind, attentive, and never made us feel rushed or forgotten despite how packed it was.
First time here and I will be coming back thank you noodle express!!! ❤️

I just want to apologize for bothering you with my patronage during your business hours!
As soon as I walked in, the server didn’t even bother to greet me or say welcome me in. She just passive aggressively told me she would clear a table for me. Right off the bat she sounded annoyed.
I politely told her my order would be for takeout and that I was in no rush.
She asked if I needed to see a menu, and after I said yes, she swiftly grabbed one and slid it across the counter in the most dramatic way possible.
She was huffing and puffing the entire time, as if she couldn’t be bothered by the customers at the job she applied and interviewed for.
She couldn’t have sounded or looked more annoyed if she tried. It was honestly performative.
I finally told her, “You seem busy, I’m going now, have a nice day,” and her tone switched up real quick.
Her voice went up a few octaves as she tried to explain herself, but I was already halfway out the door.
Truth be told, this is far from the first time an alternative looking girl has been rude to me at your restaurant. And other customers have left similar reviews about being treated rudely by girls with similar styles.
Respectfully speaking, that rude young woman is a reflection of how much you value your customers. And today your business unfortunately reflected quite poorly. Shame.
But real talk though, thank you for all the delicious food throughout the years! Your fried rice has always been a local favorite of mine.
But in good faith, I can’t continue to support your business if every time I go in there your server is annoyed that I literally want to give you money, lol
