I had a really frustrating experience at this Jamba Juice location in the Fig Garden area of Fresno. I stood in line for about 10 minutes and was never helped. I told the employee twice that I was paying with cash, but I was still ignored. Another customer got in line and they weren’t helped either. No one acknowledged us or explained what was going on. After waiting that long with no service, I eventually just walked out and left. Very poor customer service and a complete waste of time.

I came in today with my 5-year-old daughter, who told me on the drive over that she urgently needed to use the restroom. Any parent knows how serious that moment is. We were greeted when we walked in, exchanged hellos and “Happy New Year,” and I immediately asked if my daughter could use the restroom.
The assistant manager (I didn’t catch her name) told me the restroom was “for customers only.” I explained that we were customers and planned to order right after—I just needed to take my daughter to the restroom first. She then changed her answer and said the restroom was being remodeled and that they didn’t have one.
I politely asked again, explaining that my daughter really needed to go and asking if we could just use it quickly before ordering. She stared at me and replied, almost cheerfully, “I’m sorry, we don’t have one. Would you like to order?” The tone felt dismissive and mocking, given the situation.
I repeated that I was trying to prevent an accident and asked once more, and she repeated, robotically, “We don’t have one.” At that point, I had to choose between making a scene or staying calm for my daughter’s sake. Jamba is something of a tradition for us—a weekend treat and a way to celebrate special moments—so I didn’t want to disappoint her.
I asked my daughter if she could hold it, and she said yes. What made the situation worse was that the assistant manager then tilted her head, looked directly at my daughter, and gave a cynical smile that felt incredibly condescending, as if she was pleased with denying a 5-year-old access to a restroom. When I made eye contact with her, she quickly looked away and avoided us for the rest of our visit while another employee finished making the order.
Even if the public restroom truly was unavailable, the complete lack of empathy and basic human decency was shocking. Her initial comment about the restroom being “for customers only” was also troubling. It made me question whether assumptions were being made about us before we even ordered...
This is one of the few locations that still makes the matcha green tea drink my daughter and I enjoy, but after this experience, I honestly don’t know if I’ll ever return. The attitude and customer service were unacceptable. If I could give zero stars, I would.
