  We come here on a monthly basis to get our money order at customer service to pay the rent. 9 times out of 10, there is no one at the counter helping people. You have to beg and plead for service at this Safeway. They will watch you wait and not assist you. I waited for 30 minutes today and finally left. This has happened to me every month for the last six months. I am now scrambling to find another place to get a money order. Do not go to this Safeway, the service is terrible. The butcher will not assist you. The employees just want you to leave and get out. They're not helpful or considerate.

  This is to whomever purchased those cheap grocery bags with no handles. They tear and rip very easy even before you get to your car. Do you know how many seniors I see shopping at Lucky's who has quality bags with handles who used to shop at Safeway but no longer because of your cheap bags - lots of them. I'm shocked that someone from purchasing would actually pay for these cheap bags and expect customers to like them. I guess this is what Safeway thinks about their customers - like idiots who's going to put up with your cheap bags. We're not idiots - I'll shop at Lucky's where I can at least get my grocery's to the car in one piece.

  I had a very unpleasant experience with a cashier named Anthony (as listed on my receipt). Without going into excessive detail, his behavior and communication were not aligned with basic customer service standards. If I spoke to anyone at my workplace the way he spoke to me, it would likely result in immediate disciplinary action. The issue itself — manually entering a product in a way that prevented a multi-item discount from applying — could have easily been avoided. What made the situation worse was that he continued speaking negatively about me to the next customers after our interaction, which I found unprofessional and inappropriate. I strongly encourage management to provide additional training to ensure all staff maintain respectful and professional communication with customers. I would also like to highlight that the cashier assisting at the self-service machines has consistently been excellent and has helped me on multiple occasions. That level of service is greatly appreciated.

  30 freaking minutes pressing the button to get someone to open the door for some shaving razors and no one ever showed up, yet there were 4 people cleaning a small spillover on a hallway. People working here on a Friday at 6 pm are incompetent as hell

  I like the hot food section. Hot dogs for $1.50, 8 piece chicken for $9.99, chicken pot pie for $6.99 and other stuff can't be beat. Granted customers get what they pay for, so things like the size of hot dog and 8 piece chicken set are on the small side. Still it's better than paying $4 for a hot dog at Dairy Queen that's slightly bigger.
