- PZPat ZDec 10, 20251.0Had a truly disappointing experience with the florist here - I’ve had amazing experiences with florists at other Safeways, who have helped me pick out flowers and even make smaller versions of bouquets they have on display. When asked if she could help, she just said no, you have to pick them, I only wrap. And near the end of her shift, she refused to help me wrap them, saying she was heading out now because she doesn’t get paid overtime. When I pleaded for her help, she straight up told me to get the cashiers to help me wrap them, which took my cashier by surprise - he said they definitely didn’t do that. Basically the attitude was just she wouldn’t do an ounce more work to help a customer than she needed to - I won’t be using this Safeway again.

Safeway now tolerates criminals who come to this Safeway that I have shopped at since the 1980s and take whatever they want. The security tries to stop these people only to be scolded by management that they should not intervene and continue to let these criminals walk out with whatever they want. Fire the lady who as in a manner position and save this store from closing. Too many shops have closed for the same reasons and the staff who let this happen don't deserve to be working in this shop. Find people who want to work and let the hired security do their job and involve law enforcement to stop these people from stealing . Some of us are tired of this criminal behavior..

The quality is going downhill as well. I tried to buy produce but the items I was buying were old and brown. I bought frozen chicken breast and when I opened it at home, it was freezer burned. I think I'll be shopping elsewhere as much as possible. It's a shame because this location is closest to my home and the most convenient and the staff is nice.
