- SSSergio4 days ago1.0Workers kick you out at 11:30 , rude and complaining about doing their jobs and customers coming in late. Hours say it’s open till 2:00am, either workers are closing nearly 3 hours early or hours are wrong.

Apparently "No Substitutions" means "give me something that no one will eat and had to go in the trash." Yes, I am pissed off. Normally if some items are out of stock, a notification is sent to select a substitute. Even when "no substitute" is ALREADY selected. This time the person just decided to pick some nasty flavor on my behalf.

This is very convenient and there is no charge to use this service. The employees that bring my order to the car are always polite and professional in their manners. The time/day I choose to pick up are always when I can get my order. I'm texted by Safeway if any of my items are out of stock and given a chance to replace them before the order is complete. I'm also given a chance while ordering to chooses substitution if my choice becomes unavailable. The one thing about this process that I have experienced on more than one occasion is letting the store know I've arrived once I'm notified my order is ready. There are signs in the pick up area that have a phone number to call once I'm there. Many times I've called and the number doesn't work. Then I have to call the store and ask for that department. However, lately I've been sent a text that contains a link to let them know I've arrived and it's been working well. If you have the app this is not a concern but I've already got more apps than I want so this is a great alternative. I'm sent a code that I give to the person with my order so they're sure I'm getting the correct order. They load it into my car and that's it! I really like this choice of ways to shop and will continue to use it.
