Lousy customer service at the pharmacy. The gave the wrong information to our insurance, insurance company later corrected them, and now they won't refund our money.

Most expensive Safeway in California, one of the most expensive states to live in, and located in a town with one of the lowest household income averages in the state, doesn't seem right to me, extremely unfair and pointless to have in a poor community.
Please don't shop here if can help it.

Be sooooo incredibly careful shopping at this store. I Was there on 3/01/26 I purchased not only 1, expired item hard (boiled eggs expired February 6th,2026) but 2, yellow corn chips expired January 15th,2026 . Right off the shelf. Maybe there no manger?! I brushed off the eggs and threw them out, but opened the chips today March 2nd and this is embarrassing. Should be getting 0 stars

Zero stars. Totally ignored at the deli
Kid saw us looked at his phone and came over, turned to his coworker who also ignored us and said "I have to make a sandwich for my mom" never got an acknowledgement. Will never go back.

Just had an experience. It was the end of the night. I was pretty sure we were the last customers, but I heard no notice over the intercom. Nothing. At 12:15, I heard an announcement over the intercom that the store had been closed for 15 minutes and the registers were now closed. I had a cart full of food and my child with me. Next thing I know, the guy who made the notice walked up and rudely told me that the registers were closed. I told him that not one of the probably 10 workers we had passed had mentioned that, and I told him that I hadn't heard anything previously over the intercom. He told me, again rudely, that he'd been making announcements. I told him honestly I hadn't heard any.
I understand it was the end of the night. I also understand that he works a corporate job and thus would most likely have been unable to unlock the registers even if he wanted to. But his attitude was something else. It was very rude and completely uncalled for, especially since I had my child with me. I will be going back tomorrow and reporting to his supervisor.
