  Had lunch there at 2 pm (Feb 2026) today and was last here 2 or 3 years ago. Both times I was with a hiking group and 2 out of 2 times everyone really liked the food and atmosphere, plus you can get a bottled beer just not much of a selection. I asked for a vegetarian bean burrito with no rice or dairy, just whole beans, lettuce, guac and pico, and they added red cabbage and the lettuce was a nice mix and food was served quickly. Thumbs up to the staff, too.

  It's not easy to find a good and authentic Mexican restaurant, but this one by far scores as one of THE WORST. We live in the area and once decided to have lunch there. When we walked in a woman with an unfriendly look asked us 'can I help you?'. No smile and no warm greeting. We ordered 2 servings of tacos and a quesadilla to share. The servings are tiny and pricey (considering the amount of food). And the food quality is awful. Tacos didn't even taste like tacos and looked like some peace of meat without anything else in it and no flavor. Salsa was very stale. Needless to continue on quesadilla; it was as bad as tacos. When we were leaving the woman at the cashier counter didn't even say anything and was doing something without paying any attention to us. Horrible experience and marked as a place not to 'ever come again'.

  I had the quesadillas and my wife had a carnitas burrito. I only took pics of my plate. We ordered on the restaurant website and the food was ready by the time we came to pick it up which was about 10-15 mins so that was awesome. The quesabirria was delicious! A decent amount of meat and the dipping juice was excellent. What we ordered was great, 5 stars. I would’ve given it an overall 5 if they would’ve included chips to go. That being said I will still be back for this order many times to come. Great food.

  This place is authentic. Great service and food. I will be back. In Fairfield this is the place to get pampered.
