When I asked why additional food couldn’t be prepared, the employee explained that the grill had already been shut down and cleaned. I then asked why the grill was closed so early when the restaurant doesn’t close until 11:00 p.m. The response was that they begin shutting everything down early because they only have 30 minutes after closing to finish cleaning and counting boxes. In other words, the grill was closed nearly 45 minutes before the posted closing time. I replied that proper time management should allow for the grill to be the last item shut down so customers can be served until closing. The service was very disappointing, and I will not be returning to this McDonald’s location.
