  I’m writing this review on behalf of my good friend and coworker, Bob. We work together in the same salon just up the street, and he has been a loyal customer of this Subway for many years. He stops in two to three times a week because it’s convenient and because he truly enjoys their tuna and chicken sandwiches. He also likes to use the coupons Subway frequently sends out — something many customers appreciate. Last Friday, he went in for his usual lunch. When he got to the register and mentioned he had a coupon, the owner grabbed it, threw it down on the counter, and said loudly, “I hate these coupons — we make no money with these coupons!” Bob felt embarrassed and humiliated — especially with other customers standing behind him watching the exchange. Not knowing what else to do in the moment, he just paid, ate quickly, and left. When he got back to the salon, he told me what happened, and I could tell how uncomfortable and unnecessary the whole incident was. It’s disappointing because he has supported this Subway for years simply because it’s close to work and consistent. But after this experience, he feels he won’t be returning anytime soon, if at all. And honestly, there are plenty of other options up the street — including Jersey Mike’s — where customers are treated with respect and never made to feel bad for using a company-issued coupon. This isn’t written to be harsh, but to highlight how important good customer service is. No loyal customer should ever be shamed for using a promotion the company itself provides. Respect matters, and unfortunately it was missing that day.

  I had a bad experience. The lady that took my order was rude. I asked what type of cheese do you and she said they are right in front of you. Then she would put items that I didn't ask for. Then she would go to through each item and say do you want this and I told her no I just want the spices and she said I didn't ask you that I'm asking you if you want this and I said no I don't and she just want through each item that way. It was horrible!!!
