  I always have a great experience with Drive Up & Go at Vons, and Julie is a big reason why! She is consistently friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful. She does an amazing job selecting thoughtful substitutions in the app when items are out of stock, which I really appreciate. She’s also very thorough and always makes sure everything is correct, and she goes the extra mile by helping load my groceries into my car. It’s rare to find service this consistently great—Julie truly makes the experience easy and enjoyable every time. Highly recommend!

  Always check your receipt for correct prices. About 20% of the time I find discrepancies in the advertised on sale or club member prices and actual charges. Whenever I catch it and complain to a clerk they seem unconcerned and I get the impression this happens very frequently to others as well. I have also complained to Vons Corporate contact via the online form but have not gotten any response.

  Horrible experience specially with River Fredricks. I decided to try the order ahead for the first time and I was told by someone at the front to head down aisle 12 and “go to the back”. I went to the back and through the doors because there didn’t seem to be anyone over there and I thought that was where I was supposed to go. There seemed like there was an area that a person usually sits. I just found one of my items and I waited in the back for someone. River showed up and immediately chastised me telling me I was not supposed to be back there and i need to get out of the area. Which I did. I said I’m sorry the person in the front told me to come back here I’m just waiting and I couldn’t find my other items. As I was explaining it’s my first time picking something up she interrupted me and said “I don’t care it’s a hazard you’re not supposed to be here, you were supposed to go right here” I was simply explaining that I was lost and waiting for someone and I was confused. She was incredibly rude to me and asked “do you want your other items” and i said yes and told her she was being mean and rude and that the whole thing was a bad experience for me. She argued and said she wasn’t. She was, she made me feel horrible for being lost. I didn’t argue when she asked me to get out of the back I just explained i needed help looking for my items and was confused. Horrible customer service, not kind or helpful at all

  Its In A Very Safe crime free Neighborhood. As a traveler; What is always most important about any store that I may have to pull off the fwy to buy something or supply up during a trip is; How safe is the surrounding area. Not only did this store seem to be very good quality, clean and well stocked, but the surrounding area seemed very safe, clean, crime free area. Actually; The city of Irvine Ca, all the way down to San Diego, the areas around the 5 Fwy, as far as I know, is pretty safe to pull off the 5 Fwy for any reason, to buy things or a motel stop for the night. Sketchy areas seem few and far between. ( If you're a tourist or traveling around in Southern California, avoid pulling off the 5 or 10 Fwys ln Los Angeles County to gas up or buy supplies. ) I highly recommend stopping at this Vons/store for your shopping needs. As you can see, its very near to the 5 FWY

  The cinnamon muffins are the best! The muffin tops are crunchy but never dry, with just the right hint of cinnamon that creates a wonderful flavor. But most important of all is the customer service. Sr Louis truly takes customer satisfaction to the next level. He’s always there with his gentle smile, ready to hand me my “Sunday fix,” knowing he’s delivering the best muffins in the area. Thank you, SrLouis—you make my Sundays special. 😊
