Signs of danger include a sour/sulfuric smell, slimy texture, or a gray-brown color throughout. If it smells off or is sticky, discard it immediately.

  I’ve been looking for an alternative to the La Costa Pavilions or Ralph’s for some time now and have been to this store about 6 times over the last year. While the selection is good, when I get the the checkout process, every time I’ve had cashiers that didn’t even acknowledge I was there, they were taking to other employees complaining about coworkers or busy on their phones texting. I had 3 times with the same cashier who never said a word to me , never asked if I wanted a receipt and I had to ask for a bag. Another cashier was busy reading a manual and was annoyed when I disturbed him to buy groceries at an his checkstand . I’m not needy, and I don’t need a new cashier friend. It’s just noticeably rude, I shop at a-lot of stores nearby and the only reason I’m posting a review is because it is insane how rude they are and it’s not just one person. I’ve also also had 3 times at around 6 pm on a weekend where I had to walk away and buy nothing from the meat department because nobody was present for 10 minutes plus. I like the location and the prices but it stands out as a place that not only failed a couple of times, but every single time I went over the course of a year. Do better, I’m sure I’m not the only person with this type of feedback .

  I can’t thank enough the BAKERY department! Everyone helped me in my “Cake Emergency” when the original baker I hired didn’t came through the morning of the party. I arrived asking for help and the three people that were behind the counter Saturday morning were really nice and helpful. I want to thank the baker, Mr. Siavash, in particular! He is amazing! He looked at the inspiration picture we had and made the cake in just an hour! The cake looked even better than the one in the picture! And, on top of it, it really tasted very good! Me and my family are forever grateful!
