Having returned to the Bay Area recently, I wanted to see if the place was the same as when I used to come there mind you the economy was better in the 2000s. Their food is really good and the tacos I had with carne asada were amazing! The horchata as well. I recommend this place. California has the best Mexican food! Truly

There weren’t other offerings in walking distance for me so I am grateful. Interior nicely designed, atmosphere is familial. Will be back!

- KGKevin GonzalezOct 1, 20251.0First of all let me start by saying their mole has tree nuts which is so ridiculous I've never seen that before in my life. real Mexicans don't use tree nuts like almonds in their mole sauce. I literally had an allergic reaction and i have eaten plenty of mole in my life. When I called to talk to them about it on the phone their manager wouldn't give her name and she was acting very shady. They suck at making Mexican food by the way. Chilaquiles didn't even have any cream or enough queso fresco. Chicken for the chilaquiles was literally a slice of chicken breast that they were too lazy to shred up.
