- JLJennifer LevarioFeb 23, 20264.0I would give the store five stars but every time I go, I'm accosted by people trying to get money or signatures from me. I just want to shop in peace. A while back, there was a large group of men collecting signatures and they would not take no for an answer. I was polite and said no thank you. He yelled at me that , "No, you can't say no" and followed me as I was entering the parking lot yelling for me to come back and sign. They were also approaching people in the parking lot before they got to the store. It's so inappropriate. I wish this Safeway would be classier and leave customers to their shopping. I only go here now in an emergency. I'd rather drive farther than go through the anxiety of strangers approaching me demanding things.

The only section closed was the Asian cuisine area, which is the only reason I came and what I buy every single week. The staff said they wanted to close early, which makes absolutely no sense from a consumer standpoint. If you advertise that you are open until 8 PM, then you should be open until 8 PM. Customers should not have to guess or waste their time driving there just to find out you decided to shut down early. This was a huge inconvenience and felt very unprofessional. I plan my shopping around those hours, and this experience left me feeling disrespected as a regular customer. Management really needs to address this because this is not acceptable...

There are always people in the parking lot trying to haggle for money, ask for petition signings (most of these people aren't legit and sell your info), or trying to sell items. This is bad for business (unless its girl scouts selling cookies) these so called activists, hagglers, and vendors are scams and very aggressive with their tactics.
