I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was disappointing enough that I feel it’s important to share.
The service was extremely poor from the moment we walked in. We waited far too long just to be acknowledged, and once seated, it took even longer for anyone to take our order. Staff seemed uninterested and inattentive, and we had to repeatedly ask for basic things like water and utensils.
What made it worse was the attitude—there was no sense of urgency or care, and it honestly felt like we were an inconvenience rather than paying customers. Good service doesn’t require perfection, but it does require effort and respect, and unfortunately, that was missing here.
I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving customer service, because the experience left a very negative impression.

I’m honestly disappointed with the experience here. The service was slow, disorganized, and lacked basic attentiveness. We spent a long time waiting at every step—being greeted, ordering, and even getting simple requests handled.
What stood out most was the lack of professionalism. Staff didn’t seem engaged or concerned about the customer experience, and communication was minimal. It felt like we had to chase someone down anytime we needed anything.
I understand that places can get busy, but this felt more like a lack of care than a busy shift. Hopefully improvements are made, because service like this really takes away from the overall experience.

Develop a small case of food poisoning from ordering some food there on Sunday 4/12/2026. It wasn't the chicken because my spouse ordered chicken as well. I had a bowl with brown rice, chicken, carnitas, pinto beans and cheese. The only reason we we went there, as first went to the location on Laguna Boulevard. I was like OMG when we walked through the door. There were empty food containers at least a row 3 across 6 high with serving utensils inside on the back table where they prep the food it was really unbelievable. So, we went to the one on Elk Grove Boulevard... big mistake I think I'll be skipping Chipotle for a while and Elk Grove.
Good amount of portions, but food was way too salty for me
