  This franchise is the Panda Express of Mediterranean food. CAVA has genetic favors and cold/not fresh falafel. Selective Zankou Chicken locations are your best bet for something even close to Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food.

  I want to recognize Jacob at the Carson location for his outstanding service. I was unfamiliar with the menu, and he was so patient and helpful in guiding my choices. Thanks to his expertise, my bowl was fantastic. Employees like Jacob make this CAVA stand out!

  We came here twice. Both weekends. The first time it was swamped, huge line, took forever to order and a lot of the containers were picked over. I get it, busy time… We were not offered any of the dry toppings either time, like the crunchy pita or lettuce. The first time we were given soft pieces of pita with our orders. The second time we came, which was a Saturday around 6:00 PM the cashier at the end didn’t offer us pita. When I asked for it, she gave it to us, and I asked is it supposed to come with it, and she said only if you ask, which is weird because we didn’t ask the first time… Also they said the avocado was included but the container was empty and no solution was offered so we just didn’t get avocado? I’m sure they had some in the back prepped in a container in the fridge I imagine? The guy who is doing prep, had some really loud inappropriate music blasting. I was there with my kid and just felt like he could’ve had headphones or lower music even… Kids are running this place and don’t seem to care very much about customer experience and keeping things stocked and well presented. There was a sign about stuff being sanitized regularly, never seen that once and honestly if they can’t restock toppings, are they really wiping tables?

  We went after 8 and they didn't have any sweet potatoes, I asked for them as was just told "oh, he has to make some", there was no garlic sauce, which is the best, and the pitas were overcooked. Not the best experience that I'm used to at Cava. It shouldn't matter what time of day it is, all ingredients should be available. And not to mention, we were visiting from Las Vegas and was so excited to be in Cali where we could go to Cava because there isn't one in Vegas. Then we drove an additional 30 minutes opposite of our hotel to go. Only to get there and not be able to get everything we wanted.

  I just had a REALLY GREAT experience. My first time ever trying Cava - both me and my bowl were handled with such care and I left the place smiling! Thank you to the team for being so accommodating, and shout out CHRIS!
