  The Vons on avocado and chase is very clean well stocked and the employees are very helpful

  Cashiers are efficient, rarely had to wait in line here. Bathrooms are usually paperless, miserly faucets require over a minute to rinse soap from hands. Luxury feature is a mirror and the toilets do flush. Clearance is decent rebate for some items, better than most stores regarding variety.

  After working for Safeway for 11 years im actually disgusted with how the workers here conduct themselves . Not one person knows how to use the page button on the phone to page a manager, store director, or anyone in charge. Workers are LESS than friendly and have zero knowledge about the store let alone where anything is or how to even get ahold of a manager (who I was hoping knew more than the workers). I heard the girl working in self checkout talk to an elderly customer so horribly. She was yelling and complaining about how she wanted the line formed for self checkout LOL and the guy said “I know I know” and she said “but you really DONT know” like wow. If I talked to a customer like that ever in my store I would be scolded by management. The next time I went in I heard a different lady at self checkout talking with another employee having a personal conversation and cussing up a storm. They don’t even acknowledge the customers unless they are trying to dictate how they want them to stand in line. Not one employee tells you thank you or have a good day or anything. When you go to grab a bag they side eye you. When you ask them a question they act slow and brainless. Went to Ralph’s instead to do the rest of our shopping and wow the difference in customer service was actually crazy. The self checkout lady at Ralph’s offered us bags and brought them to us. Came by and asked if we needed help and told us to have a great day when we were done. I don’t understand this Vons store at all but I definitely gave them a ZERO on the survey on the pin pad and will probably never return. Jennifer the one who works self checkout is the one who walks around and talks to the customers like crap. She also walks around claiming to be the store director, grocery 2nd, grocery 3rd, and the person in charge all in one when she’s actually just a front end supervisor. Once again she failed to get me an actual manager after having another bad experience with her all because my receipt wouldn’t print out at the self checkout. Not a big deal until she makes it one with her bad attitude and the way she talks to you and then it’s like okay yeah now it is a problem? So it’s the customers fault now that they don’t know how to reprint a receipt and don’t know how to get someone who does and she has a terrible attitude. She was done interacting with me and my husband I guess so she went and got Nora who was no help at all either. My husband, my baby, and I all stood there for 20 minutes while Nora tried figuring it out and still left without our receipt because they are that incapable of doing their jobs correctly. How many bad experiences am I going to have with the same person before you guys do something about it? Embarrassing.
