She knew the specials and her suggestions were perfect. Food was delicious and drinks plentiful. Can't wait to go back. Thank you Mary for a wonderful time.
- DCDavid CollinsNov 15, 20254.0I had gone there on Veterans Day the evening of to get my go off the Veterans memorial to get my free steak dinner is what I wanted and it took a while even though I had sat at the bar it was three people working back there and it took a while for them to even service me I got the steak dinner there off the menu and the steak even though I ordered it medium was a little on the dry side and it's too bad because I had just come from Applebee's and order the same one medium but it was very juicy and had a very good flavor I figure out back would have outscored Applebee's on that part but they didn't and overall I was just satisfied when I go back there again yes because I've gone back to outback for many many years and so this was kind of a touch and go there were a little busy that night but that's still no excuse

Outback steak house will always be the top restaurant on my restaurant list offering a free meal to us Veterans. The restaurant was crowded with all ages of veterans. The front desk ran the crowd smoothly without any complaints, knowing we had a wait up to an hour. We opted out and went to the bar where Brandy and Derek took care of us, you could see the employees were overwhelmed with customers, but they put out the fire one by one with a smile and treating everyone with courtesy. I salute Brandy for her unwavering tenacity to serve as many customers around the bar. Wow she was running around like she was on fire. All the employees worked beyond the norm. Oh yes, the food was hot and delicious. Thank You Brandy, Dereck and the rest of the staff.

I must admit we eat out way too much but yesterday was different as we stopped by outback in El Cajon. The food was good like always when we go there BUT having this particular server Mary, made it more enjoyable than normal. Not only was the service prompt and she knew the food menu well to answer all our questions to help the meal choices cause we had a couple first timers w us. It was the demeanor and well spoken happy go attitude that really set the tone for an enjoyable dinner. We will be returning soon and we all hope we get her again. Thanks Mary
