The chicken tikka kabob was raw, which is a serious food safety issue. The lamb tikka kabob was dry and chewy and did not taste like lamb kabob at all it lacked the authentic flavor. We also ordered meat dumplings, which were completely tasteless. For the high prices they charge, the food quality was extremely poor. The only item that was decent was the rice, which was good. We are from the same country as this cuisine, and we know how these dishes are supposed to taste. This was far from authentic and not worth the price. Overall, the food was overpriced and disappointing, and we would not recommend this restaurant.

I got to try the qabuli palao rice (lamb shank and rice with raisins and carrots) and the mantu (beef and lamb dumplings) and they were both excellent. The ingredients were very fresh and the portions were generous. Service was also very friendly and welcoming. Cooking took a while but it is to be expected with such freshly-prepared food and the menu does state the mantu takes longer to prepare. The only issue is that the parking is a bit difficult as there is very little space. I will definitely stop by again if I am ever in the area.
