  The store is good but the shopping center is very old, grubby, the lighting in parking is inadequate and dated and possibly dangerous for customers going to their car as footing is not easy to see on surfaces that vary between all stores in complex and are not always over the years well maintained. I am concerned also about petty crime or worse as it can be very dark especially on winter nights.

  For some reason alot of products at this safeway end up having or being moldy. Like this apple sauce thats front and center on the shelf but ignored by the staff. Yesterday there was 2 bags of lemons almost fully rotten.

  I went to Safeway today (March 18th at around 3:00 PM) to pick up an order for a cake. When I arrived at the bakery, there was a tall man working there who did not acknowledge me or ask if I needed help. I stood there waiting for about 10 minutes with no assistance. During that time, another customer—a man—walked up, and the employee helped him right away while continuing to ignore me. That experience was very upsetting and made me feel disrespected. This will be the last time I purchase a cake from this location. The customer service I received was unacceptable. No matter how busy or short-staffed a workplace may be, customers should be treated with respect and acknowledged. As someone who understands what it’s like to work short-staffed, I always make an effort to help others and at least greet them with a smile. Very disappointed. Zero stars.

  This Safeway has a problem with customer service. The cashiers are consistently unfriendly and rude. Recently, I approached the express checkout line and the African American female cashier who was also the front end manager, looked up to see if the express light was on or not. She was hoping that she could turn me away. When she saw that she couldn’t, she completely ignored me and continued to talk to the cashier next to her. When she noticed that I was not happy she asked me why. I I told her that I didn’t like her lack of attention and bad customer service, and she began to deflect and gaslight. She never apologized for treating me like I was invisible. I have had many disappointing experiences like this at this store.
