First off in July it was my boyfriend’s birthday and I called the day before to have some balloons blown up and made for him. When I got there, the balloons were not ready and the person at the balloon counter didn’t know how to blow up the balloons so they had to call a coworker over, that coworker didn’t know how to either so they called a third. That coworker didn’t know what they were doing so for about 20 mins 3 people struggled to blow up for balloons. I was late for my dinner reservation and had to wait 45 mins extra because of Safeway. Fast forward to two days ago. My boyfriend places a cake order for our gender reveal that was today (Saturday) the cake was completely wrong, it wasn’t what I wanted at all. The bakery didn’t listen nor care that this is a special event considering it’s my first baby and people came very far for my reveal, I spent hours getting ready for my cake to be wrong. I went home cried until I threw up because my special day was ruined. The manager said they couldn’t even make a cake tomorrow or today even though it was their error. One of the most special moments in my life was taken away from me because Safeway chose to be careless irresponsible and downright heartless. I’m still crying as I write this review. Please, for the love of God do not come here and have any type of special occasion. They will drop the ball and do nothing about it. Thanks so much for ruining my day. I only waited my whole life for this.
