We ordered 2 birthday cakes from this location. First cake - 12/14 When we went to pick up the cake on the date of delivery, it was mentioned that the baker made a 1/4 sheet cake instead of 1/2 sheet. Also it was mentioned at the time of delivery they did not have the necessary cake toppers which were not mentioned to us prior. The cake decoration was horrible with smudges. I was asked to pick another cake and was asked to pay for the horrible 1/4 sheet cake. Second cake - 12/16 On this case, the size was wrong, the design was completely wrong. We ordered a Spiderman cake a got an Ocean themed cake. There was no one to address the issue except the baker who mentioned he has no idea on decorations or what the next steps are. SAFEWAY just so you know you disappointed a child with your carelessness. So thank you very much for that! Even if my case is one in million, I would highly suggest not to rely on Bakery department at this location. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

You gotta really do something for your store !your bread sucks but you sell it for $3 !? I found bugs in your bread a few weeks ago and i’d like to share it with public to let them see how much you care about your customers !this is our fault which keep buying from them and they keep rip customers off with their poor service ! Anyways my review is not about all the Safeway groceries and i had a lot of good experiences with a lot of them except this one ! A very good Safeway in menlo park which has a excellent staffs and management and you will definitely enjoy of buying from them !
