The new gate at the east end of the store presents a barrier for disabled patrons to exit without having to travel almost the full length of the store twice. This violates ADA access requirements. Today their “security” guard tried to put her hands on me for exiting where I need to. This is unacceptable.

I’m going to be honest: I’ve never left a review for a grocery store before but I had to after today. Went inside for some donuts and lasagna and found the entire frozen foods isle empty for repairs. This isn’t the issue: Happens all the time with grocery stores and I wouldn’t have minded if it wasn’t for the fact that I tried to ask about 3 different employees when the isle would be back in operation (I have a family member that only likes a brand of lasagna that’s offered here) and no one would even be bothered with me? It seemed like I was inconveniencing everyone but all I wanted was an answer on when to return back to the store. 1st employee just stared at me before walking away. The second told me to go find a store manager since they worked produce and weren’t sure, which is fine but I had no clue where they were and they didn’t direct me there. And the third employee just, and I literally don’t know how to describe this: Whined at me. Like made a sharp whining sound (like an E almost) as I approached and when I asked if I shouldn’t talk to them because frankly that was so weird I didn’t know what else to say, they just said “Yeah….” Before awkwardly turning away from me. I get being on break or busy with tasks, I’ve worked customer service/retail before but it would have been helpful for anyone I asked or even tried to approach to at the very least direct me towards an answer. I felt stupid for even trying to ask so I put all my stuff back and just left the store. I felt weird about giving money to a place that was so weird about me wanting to know when an entire frozen section would be back or if I could even get the food elsewhere(Some stores rearrange isles when under construction).
Genuinely just don’t want to shop at this location anymore after that.

Pavillions - Culver City is a "go to" grocery store as far as variety that has a really nice and helpful staff during the day. During this evening this changes near the check out area. I have witnessed some confrontations by the evening Manager and at one point she was yelling at a customer. So I would avoid her altogether and go to the self service check out area which is open until 10 p.m. .
The Bakery and Deli staff at this store are very helpful night and day. They magically produce healthy and excellent food in these sections while being very accomodating to the customers. They are the unsung heros working in this store for the high quality of their food, their endless work and their stellar customer service There are also really wonderful experiences to be had at the Starbucks asd Panda locations inside this store. Similarly, you will feel welcomed and the food and drinks are excellent.
There is a variety of good brand products and fresh food offered in this store. It can seem pricey, but there are good deals on the weekly and "udeal* sections of their app. Just sign up as a member at no charge The store has a huge section of frozen food. I managed to try a few items in this section even though I am a fresh food fan. I was delighted to have my favorite ice cream, Talenti, a jewel of a brand from there. There was a large selection offered and it was on sale with a generous markdown. It was a bliss buy
The Produce Section is great. Just be sure on the deals ahead so this fresh food is not too expensive. The Seafood Section also has great crab cakes and some items from reliable brands that are less than ten dollars. The workers there are very helpful and like to answer any questions.
In sum, I could go on...but this is the opportunity grocery store. Finding the best opportunity is the key. There are many and often they seem hidden. Good luck and enjoy your finds at this store.
