I never paid attention but today I was watching when my order was getting ready. I ordered three lavender chai and one of the cups was about one inch empty and the guy who was making my order added extra water to it to fill it up. This is not right. For a 7 dollar cup of tea, this is such a poor service and cheating. I’ll never go there again. I’m sorry for Nordstrom.

⭐ Zero Stars – Disrespectful Service and Misleading Practices
I ordered a large cold brew with easy ice from the Nordstrom E Bar in Costa Mesa. What I received was barely half a cup of coffee. When I asked why, the barista told me that “easy ice” means less liquid too—which is completely illogical. I paid full price for a large drink, not a watered-down sample.
I spoke with her ( manager who was extremely rude) twice, hoping for a reasonable explanation or a correction. Instead, she gave me attitude and tried to justify shorting the drink by saying they sell their coffee “by volume without ice.” This was never explained when ordering, and the tone she used was dismissive and unprofessional.
This is the first time I’ve ever experienced such poor treatment at a coffee shop—especially at Nordstrom, where I expect better service and transparency. I felt cheated and disrespected. The photo attached shows exactly what I received.
⚠️ Be careful when ordering here. If you ask for easy ice, you might end up paying full price for half a drink. This experience was unacceptable, and I hope Nordstrom takes steps to train their staff on respectful customer service .
