Went to the only open checkout and the little boy checking people was beyond rude. I said, "good morning", he said NOTHING. I asked a question. He said nothing. I asked if I could have a bag, he angrily shoved my item in a bag. The only thing he barely uttered was "receipt"? I said to him, "I am sorry I bothered you. I would have used self-checkout if it had been open". I don't know where this guy gets off treating customers like we are bothering him and then being rude for no reason. I have never been rude to employees. I have not shopped here in six months because NOTHING was done about it. The employees can be as rude as they want, treating customers like they are a bother and in the way. I will NOT be treated that way by anyone. The manager needs more training and so do the employees. You are paid to be nice to the customers. I have never had anyone be so rude for absolutely no reason. Safeway now feels like I am bothering them by simply entering the store. If you allow that to happen and do nothing about it, I will never set foot in your store again. My entire family, extended as well, no longer utilize your store and it's over ONE employee who thought he could give me attitude because he didn't want to work that early. He is probably a manager by now...
