It’s a cool hispanic market, catering to our Hispanic community here in Compton. I usually just go in for a slice of their tres leches chocolate cake (bomb). Tonight we went in and I saw, who I assume to be, the manager. She came and was so rude to the ladies in the bakery. IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS, she berated them and accused them of losing money for the store (over the new price of the Rosca de Reyes). The day passed and market had then on sale. The workers explained that they were told (by another manager) that the signs needed to be up as they were more than half off. The manager refused to listen to them and continued to berate them in front of customers. After the alleged manager left, my husband and I both praised the girls for being so patient and profesional during the entire ordeal.
Just because your a “manager” does not give you the right to treat employees like crap.
She was a black older lady. She did not acknowledge any of the surrounding customers (there were a few around) or apologize for the mix up or anything just berated the bakery staff. Someone should speak to her about manners and customer satisfaction. No one was being rude or raising their voice except her. One little lady just wanted to know the price and was completely overshadowed by the managers attitude.
3 stars for the cake and the bakery workers.
0 stars for management.

I shouldn’t even give them a start but otherwise I can’t leave a review…. I don’t usually do this but I been sick for three days , food poisoning , I bough a tray of chicken and it was bad , it was even purple and smelled horrible I touched the chicken and smelled to make sure I wasn’t exaggerating , but I had to throw it away and yeah I did call the store and let them know , but sadly I got really sick until today , they have to be more careful with there meat products because this can get anyone in a bad situation … so please check the meats and dates I bough it on 27 of November and it said it was good to the 29 and they had a lot of chicken out on the shelves they got to do better … please do not buy your chicken or meats here
