  it wasn’t even that good. it was mid. as an asian, hino oishi (our #1 spot) has so much flavor! they also cook your chicken in hot & spicy for free unlike sakura! they charge $2-$3 just to cook it in spicy sauce! sakura doesn’t even have specials & is way more expensive than hino oishi. atmosphere was okay, hino’s & wassabi to way fancier & nicer. customer service was okay, had to ask for a to-go box 3 times. 3rd time i went up to another server to get one.

  So this place has good food, but not great staff. upon arrival for our dinner that was reserved with deposit, we sat there waiting because the hostess who was in charge of making sure we get seated didn’t mark us down. after waiting what seemed to be more than 15 minutes, we finally get acknowledged and seated by someone else. we finally order and get drinks out of the way. but it doesn’t end there. the reason this review isn’t getting a 1 star is because of our chef who was a floater (from another restaurant) he was an amazing cook and brought the atmosphere to life. the only issue was that those in charge of giving him the order had it all wrong for 2 people total. i ordered the #15 hibachi chicken with extra charge of sliced steak. but on his order neither did i or my mother get it. so we had to wait another 5 minutes just for our food to be delivered then served. the cook then told us that he’s sorry for the delay, it’s because of the grill he was cooking on. he said something about it not getting hot enough since it’s broken and that they won’t listen to him since he’s not from this restaurant originally. but the cherry on top was not only getting a hair in my ice cream that comes with the dinner, but i was charged $1.50 extra for hot and spicy sauce that i did not ask for nor claimed when the chef was handing it out. overall this place could be way better staff wise since we were met with nothing but hostility and lack of service. Japanese kitchen is way better.

  The amount of roaches in that place is actually insane please for your health and safety EAT SOMEWHERE ELSE !!!

  The food is great every time andb Chef Lee always brings the best energy!!! The only reason for 4 stars is thier ice tastes horrible when it melts. Please fix ASAP but over all FANTASTIC
